As a web designer who works primarily with small businesses,

I have the unfortunate pleasure of fixing my client’s websites.  Websites that they paid good money for, or attempted to build themselves with quick web design solutions.  Websites that are pretty much useless in terms of generating new business.

I guess I shouldn’t complain since if everyone built great websites that actually generates business, I wouldn’t have a job.  Still it hurts everytime I have to tell a client that what they’ve paid for is unlikely to produce any kind of ROI in their lifetime.
